I have received the following image from at least 4 different sources now so I chose what I felt was the “best” shot…

…at this particular event at Fort Ticonderoga last summer my unit was lucky enough to have a member play us the fiddle while a couple of the young ladies of the unit danced (Irish I believe). It was so exciting!
Our unit always has a lot of fun at events, at this same event I believe one member was having a little too much fun…wouldn’t you say Tom. Here my step-father is enjoying a drink, was this before or after the British camp came after you for being a traitor?
…just a note on this image…the black pirate flag…so NOT authentic…
Both of the images above were shared by: Larry Winkiewicz Senior, Herrick’s Regiment

How many non authentic items are in the photo? Where’s Waldo? That is a nice Pirate flag though-Captain Jack would be jealous.
Do I look spent or what. Must have been after running away (successfully) from those British Rangers. Thanks for the posting.

I was most impressed by Jake’s playing. Such entertainment is one of the things I find intriguing about camplife. An afternoon, and evening can go by and people enjoy themselves without Television, radios, computers, Ipods, Cellphones, and such. We play period correct games, listen to people sing and some as talented as Jake play. Then we do something pretty much unheard of in 21st century life. We sit down and actually talk to one another. Families and friends share stories and adventures. The weekends of reenacting events go by too fast for me.

Dancing also done by Jake’s sister. It’s wonderful to see how much talent young people can bring to the hobby. It looks like there is hope for the world after all!
